At the entryway, a palette of rich, walnut paneling ushers in an ambiance of tranquil mystery, while light streams through the portal, inviting discovery. Here, the journey of living alone unfolds from an unconventional starting point: a breakfast bar. This is where the day's story opens—with a hearty morning coffee or an aromatic afternoon tea, allowing contemplations to dance with the zestful layers and luxuriate in understated bliss.

Designer made the decision to use different palettes to visually divide up the different functions of the living area. Throughout the apartment, the continuous timber floor is finished in black herringbone as a perfect background for the various texture of surface. Meanwhile, the surrounding light-tone furniture and home objects balanced dark colors to keep the multifunctional space from looking overweight. On the right, one finds a living room and an office with a 'sketch' wallpaper introducing a playful element into the minimalist interiors.

On the other side, stucco wall stretching up to the ceiling highlights the ease of being in the unit while the mood suggests meditation and tea time. The open-up bathing unit where the bathtub sits on the end of living area hidden behind a stone island with a small build-in wine cabinet hold an intimate shower time while designer chooses to conceal the ordinary functions of domestic life within the dark wooden joinery constructions to celebrate the simplification and unconventionality of bachelor life.

The reeded glass double door leads to the master room while off-white stucco walls and joinery and furnishings in metallic color were chosen to evoke a sense of calm awaits. A small reading area with a grand window is afforded views of Xiang River and urban landscape.
